Boulder Community Health

A recent survey of Boulder County residents paints a troubling picture of our community's mental health. More than 11 percent of adult residents said their mental health was not good at least 8 of the past 30 days and 37 percent of our older adults reported feeling depressed. Among our high school students, almost 5 percent had attempted suicide.

In the second presentation of our five-part series on mental health issues impacting the Boulder community, Susan Motika, Director of Strategic Initiatives for Boulder County Public Health, will provide an overview of mental health services and new initiatives within Boulder County. She will be followed by a panel discussion featuring leaders from Boulder Community Health, Boulder Valley School District and Mental Health Partners, each discussing their organization's current focus and future plans.
